Dr, Rasi Wickramsinghe – “What You Eat and How You Eat Could be Killing You…and what you can do to stop it!”

The Houston Chapter of WZCC and ZAH are delighted to invite you to a talk on

“What You Eat and How You Eat Could be Killing You…and what you can do to stop it!”

Every day, as a cardiologist at Memorial Hermann Hospital, Dr, Rasi Wickramsinghe (Dr. Rasi, for short) sees patients exhibiting various health problems related to over-eating and improper eating habits. By educating people through his presentations, he hopes to help people avoid the need to ever consult a cardiologist.

In our heart of hearts, we know that we need to do something about the amount and kind of food we eat. We know we are gaining weight and getting less healthier by the day. We make all sorts of resolutions and promises to ourselves that we will do something about it soon. However, that day never comes and even if it does, and we start on a program, we cannot stick to it, and soon revert back to our old ways.

Well, it is time to stop kidding ourselves and finally do something about it. There is no silver bullet, and weight loss pills and diets are really not a longer term solution. In fact, some of them may do more harm than good. Behavior modification is the key and Dr. Rasi will show you how you can get back on track before it is too late. The friendly and personal way he delivers his message, sprinkled with humor, will make it just as entertaining as informative. Share this important event with anyone you love and care about, and bring them along with you.

Think of this as your New Year’s Resolution and make plans to attend this informative talk. You owe it to yourselves to make attendance at this talk a priority. Your life could literally depend on it!
